In memory of...
Sometimes we receive a donation that is made in memory of a loved one who
has passed away. This page is a special place to honor those friends and loved ones who have meant so much to us.
This is not meant to be a page for sadness, but a place to remember these special people. I'm sure that the reason that their loved ones thought about
Wrap Them in Love was because these people would have wanted to help the children if they were able to do that. So, in our sorrow, we mourn them, but
we also honor them and remember them for their kind and loving hearts.

(note from Ellen) I met "Old Pa" several times when visiting his family in Indiana. He was a great supporter of
Wrap Them in Love. Even though I met him after his stroke when he could no longer speak, I never had a problem
"talking" to him. He loved to sit in on our quilting get togethers and loved to see the quilts that we were making for
"our babies". He also loved the cinnamon rolls that I baked while I visited! I asked his daughter-in-law, Becky, to write about him for this page.

Jeffery Glenn Kulig
Jeffery died in an industrial accident in July of 2001 at the age of 28,
leaving behind his wife and 2 young children.
Dorothy DeAraujo
Dorothy was a volunteer at the American Cancer Society's Discovery Shop in Long Beach, California.
She was a passenger on United Flight 175 on 9/11.
Diane White
1949 - 2001
Diane was diagnosed with liver cancer on Sept 12, 2001 and passed away on Sept 19, 2001 leaving behind
her husband and two beautiful daughters.
God saw she was getting tired
And a cure was not to be,
So He put his arms around her,
And whispered . . "Come with me"

Brian Berry
Brian Berry, brother of Irene Staker, died in 2001, from pancreatic cancer at the age of 47.
He was a high-school drop out who later blew the GED exam off the charts and graduated from the
U of Colorado in Colorado Springs with a straight-A average. He loved learning, especially in the
area of psychiatry, and got his MS at the UNC at Chapel Hill. Most of his working life was spent
as VP of a Pepsi distributor.
Brian was humble, totally irreverent, and had a VERY dry sense of humore. Most of all though, he was caring and generous
with all who knew him. The home he shared with his wife, Dotti, was always full of people at holiday times--they
had so many friends, and there was always a lot of laughter. His son, Clint Berry, had a son born in October of 2002, and
named him Brian Berry to honor his father, whom he loved so much.
Irene still thinks of him every day, he was so special, and misses him. Please Click
